iPhone prototype pulled from eBay

Categories: Mobile Phones News   Tags: , , , ,

Whoever was selling the iPhone prototype on eBay must be a bit gutted. Stacks of publicity had pushed the bids up to $2,000 yesterday, but it also attracted Apple‘s attention, which promptly had it pulled from the auction site.

We spotted the iPhone prototype on eBay yesterday and showed you which original features of the iPhone it revealed, but the lot has since been pulled, as has the video on YouTube, which specifically names Apple, Inc as the company which requested to have the iPhone prototype clip removed.

On the plus side, at least we know for sure now that the iPhone prototype is for real – does this mean that the iPhone prototype originally had video calling and games included, but Apple doesn’t want us to know? We’ll be sure to let you know if the seller tries to flog the iPhone prototype through Craigslist instead!
