iPod dock PC launched

An iPod dock PC has just been unveiled! Dubbed the Onkyo E702A9 Sotec, the iPod dock PC is a seriously powerful media centre with a unique USP. Apple iPod owner? Read on for all the details…

Specs wise, the iPod dock PC will give any Sony VAIO media centre a run for its money. Inside the all in one iPod dock PC, there’s a Core 2 Duo processor, 2 gigs of RAM, a 500GB hard drive, as well as a Blu-ray drive, TV tuner and 1080p, 21.5 inch screen.

An iPod dock PC wouldn’t be an iPod dock PC without the slot for your fave MP3 player though, and the E702A9 Sotec packs one in just below the monitor, so you should be able to switch tracks without the need to bring up iTunes on screen, a neat little time saver.

The iPod dock PC is out now, but unfortunately it’s Japan only – we’ll be sure to let you know if that changes anytime soon.
