Asus has unveiled a wireless monitor range that cuts the need for cables cluttering up your desk, the EzLink series. What’s this? An Asus product that hasn’t had the Eee brand slapped on it? It’s a miracle. Read on for all the details.
Asus pulled out all the stops early on at CeBIT last week, what with the dual panel laptop and Asus Eee PC 1008HA, but it had one final trump card: a new wireless monitor range, the EzLink series.
The Asus wireless monitor range works by hooking up to a wireless host controller interface (WHCI) to sling the picture to the screen, without any loss in image quality.
There’s also the option to hook up an Asus wireless monitor to a USB Host Wire Adapter (HWA), a la a USB monitor, but as you’re no doubt already keen to point out, that’s not a very wireless monitor.
There are currently no details on the availability, resolution or pricing of the Asus wireless monitor EzLink series, but as always, we’ll keep you posted.
