The new Mac Mini just went live on the Apple Store, with Apple proclaiming it’s “Faster. Greener. Still mini.”
Inside there’s the Nvidia GeForce 9400M graphics chip for a five-fold improvement in performance over the previous model, a Mini DisplayPort connector and a traditional Mini DVI connector too. Apple has also made the new Mac Mini much more energy efficient, using 45% less power than its predecessor.
Apple says the new Mac Mini will use just 13 watts while in standby, claiming it’s the “most energy-efficient desktop computer in the world.”
Available in two versions, both specifications pack a 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, with the hard drives in 120GB and 320GB sizes.
