A new Apple keyboard was launched today, amid the hubbub of the new iMac, new Mac Mini and new Mac Pro. It’s as dinky as Apple’s wireless keyboard, but packs a cable and dual USB ports. Oh, and it’s still gorgeous.
Catering for those with a penchant for tiny keyboards, but who don’t want to bother with batteries or Bluetooth, the new Apple keyboard keeps the same low profile as the wireless version, but adds a cable and two USB sockets.
There’s all the usual function keys for music playback, volume and brightness, as well as dedicated keys for Exposé, and Dashboard.
The Apple Keyboard’s USB ports are proper USB 2.0 too, so you can hook up any high speed accessory, from a keyboard to a camcorder, digital camera or printer.
