Born from the creative juices of designer Anton Webb, this waterproof DAB radio cannister is designed for splashy environments. The battery like DAB radio sits on top of a rubber ring to prevent slippages, and there’s a 240V to 12V DC converter inside, so dropping it in the bath won’t lead to instant death as it would most appliances.
The waterproof DAB radio’s power switch is a massive touch sensitive button on top that can be prodded with an elbow or heel if you’re holding the soap, while text scrolls along a vertical, steam proof LCD display.
Perfect for singing along in the shower, we reckon, though sadly this waterprood DAB radio is still only a concept. We’ll let you know if any prototypes pop up anywhere, but if you know any venture capitalists, feel free to point them in the right direction.

Not a bad problem household issue to try to adress but I am just not satisfied with the design of the product. The form just doesnt seem be intuitive of its function. I would love to see the sketch process to get to that boring extrudeded cylinder.

Where oh where can I find a digital/dab radio that is suitable for the bathroom? it impossible…and I want to get one for someone special for xmas..HELP!!..oh and reasonable price too..
