There’ll be trouble in the Gates household tonight. Melinda Gates, wife of former Microsoft boss Bill Gates has committed the digital equivalent of staring at an attractive neighbour: admitting she has lusted after an Apple iPhone.
In an interview with Vogue magazine, Melinda said that iPhones and iPods are banned in their house and even the children are not allowed to own them. Curiously there’s no mention of Macs. Maybe it’s because they can run Windows.
However, Mrs G did let slip that “every now and then I look at my friends and say ‘Ooh, I wouldn’t mind having that iPhone’.”
Mel, we can almost hear Bill packing your bags for you now.
