Twitter Wit, a book collecting the world’s wittiest and most insightful Twitter messages, is heading to a shelf near you, and it wants your tweets. Find out how you can get your Twitter messages preserved for posterity after the jump!
Twitter may let you tweet via the web or phone, but never has the service sent those 140 character messages to the printers before. Twitter Wit, a book that brings together the best remarks on the micro blogging platform, has just been commissioned by HarperCollins, and the editor, Nick Douglas (A fan, not employee, of Twitter) is looking for your tweets!
Head over to twitterwit.net and you’ll be able to submit your best tweets for the first edition of the book. While you won’t get paid, if your tweet makes the cut, you’ll get a free copy of the work. Perfect for when someone takes a giant magnet to the world’s data centres and wipes out the internet, we reckon.
A release date for the Twitter Wit book has yet to be announced, but if you just can’t get enough of Twitter, why don’t you follow electricpig in the meantime? Go on.
