Mac OS X 10.5.7, an update to Leopard, is in the works, promising plenty of bug fixes on Apple’s Mac OS X operating system before Snow Leopard, the big overhaul, arrives later in the year. Find out what fixes are coming before Snow Leopard after the break.
According to sources, Mac OS X 10.5.7, an update for Leopard, will arrive before a big overhaul in Snow Leopard, expected sometime in 2009. The incremental update is said to fix syncing issues with services like MobileMe, as well as a Safari internet browser glitch and graphics driver issues.
Mac OS X 10.5.7 will be the seventh update for Leopard, due in the coming months, but anyone hoping for the new multitouch controls and location sensing software will have to wait a while yet – despite the reported hefty 440MB download for 10.5.7, that will all be in Snow Leopard.
