Marantz has just unveiled the Marantz CR502 all-in-one music system, with everything from MP3 playback to DAB built in to a box barely bigger than a Mac Mini. All the details on Marantz’ audio player punching above its weight after the jump!
The Marantz CR502 all-in-one music system is a great space saver if you don’t have a room big enough for free standing speakers or separate amp, CD deck etc, but the great part is that the Marantz CR502 doesn’t skimp on sound quality.
As well as DAB digital radio and a USB port to playback MP3 and WMA files, a CD player and FM tuner, there are two stereo amps squished inside the Marantz CR502 capable of belching out 100 watts of oomph – but there’s plenty of scope to add your own speakers too.
The Marantz CR502 is out in shops in April for £500. Not a bad price for a decent home entertainment system that’s also the size of a shoebox! Stay tuned.
