Safari 4 beta has just arrived on Mac and PC – find out what the latest version of Apple‘s internet browser can do after the jump!
Safari 4 beta has just been made available to download over at Apple’s website, and it’s super speedy, loading javascript up to 30 times quicker than Internet Explorer 7.
As well as speed improvements, there are some great new features in Safari 4 beta that make the Firefox Awesome bar seem slightly less awesome: full history search of titles, web address and the text of pages and full page zoom like the iPhone. Our absolute favourite feature though is Cover Flow browsing through websites in your history and bookmarks, just like iTunes!
Safari 4 beta is available for Mac OS X and Windows now – you’ll need the latest security patch but beyond that, you’re good to go. We’re off to take it for a test drive, but be sure to tell us how you’re finding it below.
