Spotify could be coming to iPhone, meaning you’ll be able to use the almost too good to be true music service on the move, on your mobile.
According to TechCrunch, Spotify, the free music streaming service, could be coming to iPhone and Symbian S60 – it’s citing the hiring of a director of portable solutions and a Symbian S60 developer as signs of its mobile intentions.
If the rumours are true, Spotify for iPhone will be be available at a cost for premium Spotify users, offering the same catalogue and playlist access over 3G.
Best of all though, you’ll be able to cache albums and Spotify playlists on your iPhone so you can continue listening when you’re out of reception – on a train, say.
Nothing has been confirmed yet unfortunately, but you can bet we’ll be watching this one like a Peeping Tom, only legally.
