Your iPhone could become the ignition switch to your car, if a high-tech Swiss sports car concept becomes reality. Check out the Rinspeed iChange, which ditches the car key for an iPhone app, after the jump.
Bag a Rinspeed iChange concept car and you’re in for a treat. Never mind how good the car looks, for one, you’ll be able to use your iPhone as an ignition switch. Just slot it in, start the engine and close the canopy while you’re at it, all with the tap of a finger.
Admittedly, it’s not the first iPhone ignition switch we’ve seen – that credit goes to Land Rover – but the Rinspeed iPhone app goes so far as to offer hazard and headlight switches via touchscreen too. Fancy.
