Could this be the new Mac Mini? This spy shot just leaked online, showing what’s claimed is the new Mac Mini in the wild, and packing next-gen graphics. Find out what Apple has planned for the new Mac Mini after the jump!

This shot of a potential new Mac Mini cropped up over on the Mac Rumors forums today, and from the ports on the back, it looks like it’ll pack next-gen graphics.

How do we know? The new Mac Mini appears to be sporting a Mini DisplayPort alongside the Mini DVI socket. That’s Apple’s answer to HDMI, present on all the new MacBooks, which also pack Nvidia’s Gefore 9400M graphics chips – and in the case of the MacBook Pro, a stunning Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT too.

That means the new Mac Mini will be a Photoshop powerhouse, gaming demigod and yes, work with the Apple Cinema Display. The leaker also claimed it’ll pack a 2GHz Core 2 Duo processor and 3GB of RAM so it sounds more than up to the task.

So, legit? We reckon so: the Mac Mini hasn’t been refreshed in some time, and the leaked iPod shots that emerge before launch have a habit of being spot on. We’ll be watching this one like a hawk.
