Somebody must really love Windows Mobile 6.5. An exec at Australian telecoms company Tesltra had his pockets picked at Mobile World Congress yesterday, one of which contained a prototype HTC phone running the not yet released Windows Mobile 6.5!
Whoops. HTC and Microsoft have made no response but it’s unlikely they’ll be too happy, as few journalists were even allowed to use the Windows Mobile 6.5 phones on show, the HTC Touch Pro2 and HTC Touch Diamond2.
So will the thief in question kindly share his knowledge of what’s in store for Windows Mobile 6.5 with the world? Or will he just flog it on eBay once the heat is off? We’ll keep you posted.
