Terminator Skynet robots are popping up in the post for any film fans that request them. It’s the best bit of viral marketing since the FEAR 2 cats!
A mysterious website, SkynetResearch.com, has appeared online, outlining its vague goals to help advance mankind. But in a hilarious twist, they’re offering samples of real-life “robotic enhancement modules” to eager fans.
One of the first to scoop theirs was Peter Sciretta from Slashfilm.com. He dutifully tapped in his details and in just over a week received “enhancement module model 101″ from Skynet Research.
Posting an unboxing video on Slashfilm, Peter shows the light-up device in all its glory, before a surprise ending. Want to see what it does? Check the videos below to find out.
It is, of course, marketing for the new Terminator film, Terminator Salvation, but we’ll take a free bit of kit from Skynet in name of it. After all, what harm can it do?…
