HTC Magic official

The HTC Magic, the follow up to HTC’s Android powered T-Mobile G1, has just been made official at Mobile World Congress. It’s slimmer, sexier, and this time it’s exclusive to Vodafone. All the details after the jump!

As was reported earlier, the HTC Magic is a modified T-Mobile G1, running Google Android and featuring a 3.2MP camera and 3.2inch QVGA screen like the G1, though no keyboard.

But, the HTC Magic will come with Cupcake, the extension for Android. And, for some reason we’ve been unable to divine, will come in white in the UK and Spain, black in Germany and both colours in Italy.

There are no details on release or pricing just yet, but you can sign up now for release information when it becomes available on Vodafone. We’re off to see if we can’t get a hands on with the HTC Magic right now.
