The HTC Magic just became the UK’s second Android smartphone as Vodafone and HTC ripped the covers off it in Barcelona. Not sure what all the fuss is about? Get a good gawp at all the official images after the jump!

It’s the follow-up to the T-Mobile G1, but this time round it’s exclusive to Vodafone and is much, much slimmer, thanks to the lack of a hardware keyboard. Inside is the latest version of Android, including Google’s Cupcake upgrade which provides a touchscreen keypad.

There’s still the same Wi-Fi, 3G and 3.2 megapixel camera, but we think you’ll agree from the pictures below, the HTC Magic is a much better looking phone.

Gone is the G1’s clunky slider and wobbly hinge, and in its place is the HTC Magic’s sleek unibody. Feast your eyes on the photos below to see it in all its glory!
