UPDATE: Whoops! It seems MOTO Development Group isn’t the same company as Motorola. See the corrections below.
MOTO Development Group has shown off an e-reader running Android. Could we be witnessing a real Kindle killer in the making? See for yourself in the video after the break.
We came across this little video from MOTO Development Group, demonstrating Google’s Android OS running on an e-ink display, similar to the Amazon Kindle or Sony Reader.
There are no specific plans to bring this to market just yet, but just think of the possibilities of an e-reader running Android – the Kindle 2 is great but this would allow all sorts of third party plug-ins, not just downloads from the Amazon store.
What do you reckon? Could this work on an e-reader? Or a phone? Hit us up in the comments below with your thoughts.
