Call of Duty: World at War is to receive some new downloadable content in the form of a multiplayer map pack to be released in March.
Call of Duty: World at War fans should start blocking out some time next month so they can join in the multiplayer fun in four new maps for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 editions of the game – including one new map designed specifically for the well-love Nazi Zombie bonus mode.
Nightfire brings the Call of Duty:World at War experience to the ravaged streets of Berlin for some urban combat. Station is much the same, but set in and around an underground station.
Knee Deep shifts the action to the South Sea island of Peleliu, where US Marines engaged Japanese forces in a two-month long battle for supremacy.
Perhaps the map most highly anticipated by Call of Duty:World at War players is Verrückt – an extra level for the unlockable Nazi Zombie co-op mode. Verrückt plonks the hapless soldiers in an abandoned asylum stuffed with weapons, powerups and- yes – an endless supply of Nazi Zombies.
