A multitouch table rival to the Microsoft Surface computer has just gone on sale in the UK, making all those fancy multitouch holograms in Quantum Of Solace that much closer to reality!
The SMART Table 230i offers the same multitouch table top tech as the Microsoft Surface and it’s just hit shelves (Well, shops) in the UK and US. Clocking in at 150 lbs, it’s got speakers, projector connectivity and an inbuilt digital camera to track movements and multitouch kit from Digital Vision Touch.
It’s being aimed at kids and schools, but like the multimedia billboard we saw in action at CES last month, there’s no denying it’s got much more scope. Check out the video below to see it in action.
