Yesterday afternoon was about one thing and one thing only: the Kindle 2. Amazon unveiled the Kindle 2 e-reader, and the specs are nothing less than – 3G, cloud storage, you name it. We got hold of all the official photos post haste, but best of all, we heard direct from Amazon that the Kindle 2 is getting an international release, just as we predicted.
Yesterday was a day of Xbox Live multiplayer tweaking too, for some reason. We got news in the morning of Gears Of War 2 adjustments, and the in the afternoon, Far Cry 2 got updated similarly, with multiplayer balancing and hardcore mode added.
Finally, in other news, people have far, far too much time on their hands. Not only did we see a BlackBerry Curve sculpted out of ice, but we got the results of several staggering surveys: one finding that UK teens spend several days a year looking at porn, and another suggesting Sky+HD cures depression. Hmm.
