We’d seen spy shots of the Sony Ericsson C903 Cyber-shot phone, but now it’s official, with a heap of happy-snapping features way above your typical cameraphone.
OK, so the sensor inside the C903 is 5 megapixels, rather than the top-of-the-range 8. But powering its capturing abilities are Sony Ericsson’s latest technologies, including Face Detection, BestPic, and Smile Shutter.
There’s also A-GPS inside, so the C903 can geotag photos automatically.
Video recording and picture editing software is also included, and Sony Ericsson says the C903 will go on sale in black, white and red before June.
At 16mm thick, it’s not the slimmest handset around, but the features inside definitely make the C903 worth considering if you’re after a top-notch cameraphone.
Out June | £TBC | Sony Ericsson
