Sony has just unveiled the XB series, its new line of headphones, and it’s packing more bass than a Barry White endorsed sub-woofer. Get all the details after the jump!
Looking for some fancy headphones for when the X Series Walkman arrives? Stick to Sony then, as the new XB series of headphones offers some of the lowest, most accurate frequencies trapped inside a headset, all without affecting mid-range sounds.
Top of the range is the MDR-XB700, with a 50mm driver for better bass than Bass Hunter could ever hope to find. Like the XB700, the lower range XB500 and XB300 all come with comfy cups too to prevent sound escaping, and a wide headband for non-pinheads to enjoy.
There’s also two in-ear sets in the XB range, the XB40EX and the XB20EX, which deliver similarly bowel shaking bass through Sony’s “direct vibe” design. All five are available from March, but you can check out all the official photos in the gallery below in the meantime.
