Hot news, speed freaks! HTC is to release its own Snapdragon powered mobile to rival the 1GHz speed of the new Toshiba TG01 – and it’ll be out as soon as June!
The new, superfast HTC handset will use the same 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon chip as Toshiba’s brand new TG01, and will be out in the second quarter of the year, according to Digitimes.
Sounds good, and given that HTC is the only company with an Android phone out at the moment, we’re hoping it’ll be used for something slightly more exciting than Windows Mobile.
Hey, maybe it’ll even be that dubious G2 that’s been doing the rounds. As always, we’ll keep you posted, but in the meantime, check out our hands on gallery of the first Snapdragon phone.
