Gmail will now let you browse multiple inboxes at the same time, making the world’s most powerful webmail service even more so. Cheers, Google!
The new feature in Gmail Labs will let you display multiple Gmail inboxes next to each other on the same screen. Or rather, multiple label screens up at the same time, as the Gmail uses labeling rather than inbox folders per se to categorise emails more specifically.
It’s customisable so you can see which labels appear alongside your regular mail, although sadly the option to pull a label pane up from the sidebar on the fly is still missing. Still, given how busy Google’s been rolling out new services of late, perhaps that’s just around the corner.
