The Samsung Memoir 8MP camera phone has been in the works for some time, but lo, it’s just been revealed by T-Mobile USA. To give it its full name, it’s the Samsung t929 Memoir. Come and take a peep after the jump!
The t929 Memoir isn’t the first Samsung 8 megapixel camera phone we’ve seen in the UK – that’d be the M8800 Pixon – but this one’s certainly the hottest, and it’s got a xenon flash for bright piccies to trash your compact for. On board there’s a touchscreen, natch, the TouchWiz interface, GPS and HTML browsing.
No word on whether it’ll be out in the US of K yet – this version is designed for US 3G bands, though we wonder if it won’t have anything to do with a new Samsung app store – but we’ve no doubt we’ll be getting more details on this one at Mobile World Congress in a few weeks. We’ll keep you posted.
