Now that our interest has been piqued by the rumours and almost-but-not-quite confirmation of a new iPhone arriving this Summer, our thoughts must inevitably turn to the design. Will it be sleeker, will it have corners? Will it even be a regular 3D solid or some new form of matter developed by Jonathan Ive in his shed?
Only Apple knows for sure, but will that stop eager beavers on the Interwebs from having a crack at the problem? Will it heck.
This anonymously-sourced concept design for an ‘iPhone 4G’ appeared on Gizmodo.com today. Taking its cues from the new MacBooks with their solid ‘unibody’ aluminium casing, the body is a lot ‘straighter’ than the existing iPhone – and even has the ‘cheese grater’ effect seen on some Mac Desktops.
Also on the wishlist is a front-mounted camera for video chat, a 3.2 megapixel camera and a removable battery. Yeah, well, we can dream.
