Valve Software has shrugged off claims that it will be launching a Playstation 3 version of Zombie co-op shooter Left4Dead, despite HMV listing the product for sale via its website.
CVG contacted Valve for comment after readers noticed the game up for sale and received the slightly sarcastic response “Fantastic. I can’t wait to see it.”from an unnamed Valve employee.
Weirdly, this is not the first time this is happened, with the Official PlayStation magazine reporting that the PS3 version was in development last August and Play.com listing the game online back in November.
HMV is still listing a PS3 edition of the game as available for pre-order with a June 5th release date and will seemingly take actual money from you if you try to buy it.
