The snow’s melting fast so there’s no excuse for not making it in today sadly, but never mind – techie breakie will keep you from doing proper work. We’ve got all the latest happenings in the world of tech right here, so put off doing your job for that much longer!

It was Apple ultra portable rumour central yesterday, what with AT&T pushing Apple for a MacBook 3G, and then this curious patent cropping up for an Apple Tablet device. A new Mac? A new iPod Touch? We’ll be watching closely.

If you’re not a Mac fan though, we’ve got the PC for you: the Dell XPS One 24, a powerful and stylish all in one media machine that a new iMac will be hard pressed to beat.

We’ve seen a lot of camcorders lately, but Nikon’s chosen to drop a huge line of point and shoot cameras instead, including the powerful Coolpix 90 and several new compacts with touchscreen tech to scribble on your snaps as you take them.

On the mobile side of things, there’s an over the air update for the T-Mobile G1, and Pantech, a Korean company, has come up with a handset which can tell when you’re blowing into it. For what purpose, we’re not sure.

Finally, some exciting news for gamers: Resident Evil 6 could be set in London, according to producer Masachika Kawata.
