An updated Samsung Omnia 16GB has sprung out of another Samsung leak ahead of Mobile World Congress this month, along with a full spec sheet, warts and all! Get the Samsung Omnia 16GB details after the jump.

A Windows Mobile fan site has published pictures and specs of what it says will be a Samsung Omnia 16GB version to be announced later this month. It’ll have GPS, HSDPA, GPS, Wi-Fi, a 5 megapixel camera, the same 3.2″ screen and a Micro SD card slot to bump up storage space all the way to 48GB in total, putting it on a par with the Nokia N96.

It’s a pity that this new version of Samsung’s answer to the iPhone doesn’t look like it’ll sport Windows Mobile 6.5, but we’ll take this upgrade in lieu of the South Korea only version of the Omnia.

Legit? And any more credible than the 12 megapixel camera phone reports emerging from South Korea yesterday? We’ll be on hand at Mobile World Congress to let you know.

This is old news, stocked the 16GB Omnia when the phone first launched but it was pulled due to stock and software issues.
