How’s this for a surprise: The new Nokia 6700 Classic. It’s been unveiled two weeks ahead of Mobile World Congress, and that’s not the only eyebrow-raiser. It’s sleek, sexy and packs specs far above your typical mid-range handset. Are we excited? You betcha! See why after the jump.
The new Nokia 6700 might look like a bog standard blower, but don’t let its appearances fool you. This is the follow up to one of Nokia’s most successful ever phones, the 6300, and squeezes in some seriously high-end features.
There’s a 5 megapixel camera and GPS for a start, with Nokia Maps software pre-loaded to get it navigating straight out of the box.
The 6700 is also HSDPA enabled for high-speed data, and has an accelerometer inside. The latter means it’ll support Nokia’s “tap commands”, such as giving it a quick double-prod to make the time appear on-screen.
It’s neat, powerful and feature packed. Honestly, we couldn’t ask for much more. But if you’re actually asking for less (especially where the price is concerned) have a peep at the new Nokia 6303 Classic, or the bargain basement Nokia 2700 Classic. Yours for just £60!
Out July | £217 | Nokia
