How much for a Nokia 2700 Classic? The new phone’s got a 2 meg camera, proper music player and media sharing skills… So how much? Sixty quid. That’s how much. Yep, just £60.

If you’re looking for a recession-friendly mobile, this has to be it. The new Nokia 2700 Classic costs just £60, but inside there’s a fair selection of kit for your cash.

There’s a 2 megapixel camera, and a microSD slot to squeeze in memory up to 2GB at a time. There’s also an FM radio, full-featured MP3 player software and a proper headphone socket.

OK, so it’s EDGE only, but it’ll still suck up data from the web, and comes pre-installed with all Nokia’s media sharing and communication software: Mail on Ovi, Share on Ovi and Nokia Life Tools.

Can’t say fairer than that for £60 can you? But if you want something with a few more specs, have a look at the new 6303 Classic. It’s still cheap, but has a few more bells and whistles. Or if you’re after the whole shebang, the new 6700 Classic is the way to go.

Out June | £60 | Nokia
