Could a Nokia netbook get a Mobile World Congress launch next month? Read on to find out why we think well be seeing a Nokia netbook this year after the jump!
The boys over at NokNok have come up with a rather compelling argument to suggest a Nokia netbook could be in the works. They point to the massive growth in 3G connected netbooks, despite the recession, and the fact that the Nokia N810 Internet Tablet WiMax edition was taken out of service last week. Coincidence, or something much more telling?
It’s pure speculation – perhaps we’ll just see the N97 put on parade, alongside the E75 – but given Nokia’s propensity to stick a finger in just about every pie lately (Home entertainment, home control, GPS tracking), it would certainly make sense. Hell, if even Archos can make a netbook, why not Nokia?
We’ll be there to get hands on with anything and everything Nokia has to show at Mobile World Congress so you’ll know either way, straight away. In the meantime, make sure you read the evidence NokNok puts forward. It’s convincing, that’s for sure.
