HD TV shows have finally hit iTunes in the UK. Steve Jobs promised they were coming way back in September, but as of today you can download them in Blighty!
We’ve just spied the first episode of Lost, season 5, available in HD for download on the iTunes UK store at £2.49 for the episode – or a rather hefty £41.99 for the series pass.
We haven’t spotted any more just yet, but doubt it’ll be long before the store is brimming with HD TV. We’ll be keeping an eye for any more that pop up.
Of course, HD downloads cost a lot more money, and certainly more than you’d pay for a box set, but is it worth it? Would you buy HD downloads through iTunes? Shout up in the comments below.
