The bad news continues with Philips becoming the latest victim of the recession: it’s posted massive losses for the last quarter of 2009, and will now make 6,000 job cuts to try and even the books.

That’s not the only downer of the day if you’re a T-Mobile G1 owner: the first bit of malware has made it onto the Android Market, apparently wiping G1s and memory cards along with them – be warned.
