Apple iLife ‘09 on sale tomorrow

iLife ‘09, the latest edition of the Apple creativity suite shown off at MacWorld, is going on sale tomorrow at the Apple Store.

As of tomorrow, the update iLife package, which includes major updates to iPhoto (Face detection, geo-tagging), iMovie, GarageBand and more will be available through the online Apple Store for £69.

Faces and Places in iPhoto ‘09 are certainly the most exciting new iLife ‘09 features Phil Schiller had to show at MacWorld earlier this month, enabling you to sort snaps by peeps and location, but we also can’t wait for the new lessons feature in GarageBand, letting you download hints and tips from the likes of Norah Jones and Sting, although the Police frontman does have the potential to become the new Paper Clip from Microsoft Office.

Apple’s already got scores of video tutorials up about the new software, and if you’re thinking of getting a new Mac, don’t worry: this comes included.

Out Tuesday 26 January | £69 | Apple
