The iPhone Nano rumours that have been circulating since just before MacWorld 09 have been unusually persistent, even for Apple-related scuttlebutt.
During the company’s recent first quarter earnings conference call, acting CEO Tim Cook took a moment to deny the speculation (hopefully) once and for all.
“You know us, we’re not going to play in the low-end voice phone business,” said Cook, “That’s not who we are. That’s not why we’re here. We’ll let somebody do that, our goal is not to be the unit share leader in the phone industry. It is to build the best phone.”
Ahhh, but what about the best tiny phone, Tim? Eh, eh? etc.
