It looks like a normal camcorder, but it's far from it. It's a super-camcorder!

We got up close with the new Sanyo Xacti HD2000 last night, alongside the VPC-FH1. They’re the company’s first full HD progressive scan camcorders capable of filming at 60fps. Come and take a peep!

The VPC-FH1 and VPC-HD2000 are ultra impressive. The latter is a pistol-grip design, while the former has a more traditional shape.

They’re both capable of filming in the very best quality, and will record for up to 3 hours 20 minutes without stopping. That’s enough to create your own feature film!

The HD2000 is our favourite of the two. Its pistol-grip shape is super-steady, and while it feels chunky, it’s reasuring and helps reduce camera wobble from shaky hands.

There’s also 16x zoom inside, and it’s not just a video camera, it’ll crank out 8 megapixel snaps too.

Get a close up look at it in the image gallery below, and stay tuned for our first impressions.
