Toshiba has just unveiled its Satellite A350, its first laptop with a 16:9 widescreen to make watching movies on the move much easier on the eye.

It’s set to be perfect for watching films on the move, without being bordered by black lines, since it has the same proportions as your TV at home.

It’s a roomy screen too, measuring 16 inches, has a 1366 x 768, so it’ll handle HD playback (albeit not full HD), and it’s powered by a beefy set of specs inside the laptop itself.

There’s a choice of Intel Core2 Duo or AMD Turion processors, 4GB of ram and hard disk space up to 320GB. That’s on top of extras like Harmon Kardon speakers and Dolby Sound Room tech to make it perfect for mobile entertainment.

Got a big screen nearby? the Satellite A350 has a HDMI output too, so it’ll hook up with a single cable.

Out now | £529 | Toshiba
