Spy shots of the new Nokia 5730 XpressMusic handset have leaked online, showing the Big N’s next music handset will pack a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, much like the N97. Check out all the details after the jump!
Given the early review treatment by Mobile Review, it packs in a two inch QVGA screen, 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS, EDGE data and Symbian S60. Sure, there’s no 3G and with just 128MB of
memory inside, it’s hardly going to trouble the N97 in the storage stakes, but that’s not the point.
It’s a crossover device, packing in the slim size and budget price of Nokia’s XpressMusic range, alongside the QWERTY keyboard that’ll make it a great mini-smartphone.
With Symbian S60 buzzing away inside, it’ll be able to handle all the e-mail and app duties
that’re thrown at it, and at €220, or just under £200 SIM-free, should be within reach of anyone renewing their contract.
Expansion from microSD cards up to 8GB should give enough storage for most new owners too, and there are even murmurs the final version will include Wi-Fi.
