It hasn’t even launched in the UK yet, but Nokia’s already issuing software updates for the 5800 XpressMusic, adding bug fixes and integrating Google search.

The new firmware takes the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic to v11.0.008, improving stability and ironing out bugs, but the most noticeable addition is Google being built into the phone’s internet search application.

Nokia also says the web browser has been improved, along with the music player. You can update the handset by plugging it into a PC and running the Nokia Suite of applications. However, it should already pack the latest firmware when it hits the UK officially later this month.

Out January 23 | £249.99 | Nokia
