These awesome kids’ gadgets just keep coming. First we saw the Lego digital camera and walkie talkie, and now Crayola has launched its MP3 player, alarm clock and walkie talkie.
The Crayola MP3 Player is typically colourful, albeit a bit boxy, but with five oversized buttons to make music playback simple for kids of four and up to control. It also has a built-in speaker and a voice recorder.
Inside there’s 2GB of memory, and comfy earphones come included. In a neat touch, Crayola is bundling letter stickers with the MP3 Player, so kids can mark it with their own name.
The whole thing runs on a single AAA battery, and can be docked with the Crayola AM/FM Alarm Clock Radio, which itself has a built-in projector to shine the time onto the ceiling, and also cranks out “soothing” sounds on demand.
Not enough for you? Then Crayola also has a new walkie talkie. It’ll feature changeable faceplates and rubberised buttons.
All three gadgets will launch in the US in the second quarter of the year, with the walkie talkie costing $15, the clock radio going for $30 and the MP3 player $50.
