Cloud computing in the home may sound like an oxymoron, but hear us out: Microsoft has come up with a great piece of kit that lets all your home devices talk to each other, Fugoo Live. It’s Bluetooth for home appliances, but better!

The concept is elegantly simple. Hand over $99 for a Windows powered Fugoo box (Which looks remarkably like a Nintendo Wii) and slot it in to various gizmos, from photo frames to coffee filters.

Drag and drop pictures from your PC into a TV or have your alarm clock order a cuppa for when you wake up, it’s all synced through a bright and colourful control panel on your computer. Each gidget will set you back $99 when they arrive in the land of the free in June – worldwide release is expected in 2010, but if you haven’t discovered Amazon.com yet, you really should do by summer.

Out June | $99 | Fugoo Live (Via Stuff)
