No, no, a thousand times no! Despite being denied more often than the Lone Gunman theory, the rumours that Microsoft will be switching the Xbox 360 to Blu-Ray just keep coming.
The Blu-Ray Xbox rumour popped up again a few days ago and Microsoft’s Robbie Bach was quick to stomp on it again.
“It’s not a feature we get a ton of requests for,” Bach said. ” When you ask people the list of things they want to see us spending time creating in Xbox, Blu-ray is way, way down on the list”
Adding Blu-Ray would increase the cost of the console (look where that has got the PS3) and present technical difficulties to developers as well as making new games incompatible with older Xbox 360s, added Bach.
