Sony hasn’t even shown off its new touchscreen X-Series Walkman yet, but the first hands-on video has already popped up online.
The new touchscreen Walkman’s interface is incredibly slick, looking not too distant from Apple’s coverflow, but it’s the innards that make the new Walkman so exciting.
We’re talking digital amps and digital noise cancellation, so the sounds it produces are beefy and block out the external hubbub. There’s also Wi-Fi inside, as well as a web browser, direct podcast downloads and a YouTube app.
To say we’re impressed is an understatement. It’s a true challenger to the iPod touch. Check it out in the hands of Stuff’s Tom Dunmore below!
