Mobile conversations not crystal clear enough for you right now? LG Mobile is planning on improving that, announcing a partnership with music producer Mark Levinson to bring noise cancellation tech to LG mobile phones.

We were at the LG press conference this morning at CES in Las Vegas, where the company announced it was continuing its collaboration with audio expert Mark Levinson to work on noise canceling tech across the LG product line.

We saw a demo of the tech in action and while it looked a bit dreamy (complete silence around you on a busy street? Er, we’ll see), there’s no denying that if LG can pull it off, it’ll be a standard for the next generation of mobiles.

We’ve known LG has been keen to improve mobile audio for a while now: the LG Renoir is the first phone in the world to tote Dolby Mobile audio tech for surround-sound songs on the go. No word on launch date for the new tech, but LG says we’re looking at a 2009 release. Stay tuned.
