Earlier we brought you news of WowWee’s new rolling robotic snooper called the Spyball. Now we’ve had a close-up look and play with it, we’re even more excited at the prospect of this sneaky sphere carrying out its spying antics at ankle level.

What’s immediately striking about the Spyball is its dwarfish size – no bigger than a fun-size football it’s pretty discreet and disarmingly cute for a soulless spherical droid. The pop-up camera worked smartly too, beaming back images and video via Wi-Fi.
