According to WowWee it’s newly announced Roborover explore-o-bot “grows to become more confident” the more you play with it. Starting as a timid and inquisitive droid, the Roborover seemingly becomes more outgoing with time, although we’re hardly in i-Robot artificial intelligence territory here.
Rolling around on a rather natty set of treads, the remote control Roborover has a bunch of other smart robo skills tucked up its plastic sleeves. Read on for the full lowdown.
Swelling with confidence the Roborover is peppered with infrared sensors to ensure it doesn’t collide with any clutter as it rolls around your lounge, and tilt sensors so it knows when it’s been tipped over by an irritated family member. Its eyes are sensor laden too, with LED headlights that automatically illuminate in the dark to light up its path as it parades through your pad in the dead of night. It comes with a bunch of driving based games and features spoken content.
Another of its smart talents is a homing device that enables it to follow you wherever you go even in the dark, like some knee high plastic stalker. How sweet.
