They say that the sky’s the limit, but try telling that to roboteer WowWee. It may be firmly on the ground with its plans for an iPod robot, but it’s also leaked the latest model in its FlyTech range, the Lightstar, boosting its tech off of terra firma.

WowWee has just unveiled the FlyTech Lightstar at CES in Las Vegas, and the LED lit, propulsion based UFO-alike is sure to abduct everyone’s attention as it soars and hovers across the tradeshow stands.

Crash resistant spinning RC toys aren’t exactly new, but what’s got us excited is that WowWee says you’ll be able to control up to three Lightstars at once for stunning aerial displays of up to four minutes from a short and sharp 10 minute charge. We’ll keep you posted on any flying saucers we spot at the show this week, so stay posted.
